Is there an official Google Drive MCP server?
Yes. As of October 2026, Google offers remote MCP servers for Workspace apps, including Drive, as a Developer Preview. MegaMCP takes a narrower route built for client work: tools only see the Drive files you explicitly enable for a client, and every change is a plan a person approves.
What is a Google Drive MCP server?
