The life of a change
- Proposed. Your AI (or a scheduled workflow) calls a write tool. MegaMCP reads the live state, builds a plan with one line per change and the before and after values, and checks your budget bumpers. Nothing has changed.
- Reviewed. You see the diff in chat and on the plan's page in the dashboard (Changes).
- Approved or rejected. A member, admin or owner approves or rejects it. Pending plans expire after 24 hours.
- Applied. Budget bumpers are checked again, then changes apply in order. If one fails, the rest are skipped and the plan is marked partially applied.
- Undone, if you like. Undo builds a new plan that reverses the applied changes. It gets its own diff and its own approval.

Where you can approve
- In the dashboard. Changes lists pending plans. Open one, read the diff, click Approve or Reject. Always available.
- In chat (opt-in). Off by default. When an admin turns on Approve in chat under Settings, your AI may apply a plan after you clearly say yes in the conversation, with limits: only plans that same AI connection proposed, never plans from a workflow or a teammate, and a spend increase only on an account with a max daily budget guardrail. Everything else still goes to the dashboard.
Who can do what

Undo
Every applied change stores what it needs to reverse itself: the old budget, the old status, the id of the thing it created. On the plan's page, click Undo to get a reverse plan with its own diff, then approve it. From chat, ask your AI to undo it; it calls megamcp_undo_change, which also creates a plan that needs approval. Budget bumpers apply to undo too: if undoing would push a budget over the cap, the undo plan is blocked until an admin raises the cap.
The flight recorder
Every tool call, plan, approval, rejection, change, undo, connection and billing event is recorded with who did it and from which AI app. Search and filter it under Flight recorder in the dashboard; admins can export it as CSV. How far back you can see depends on your plan: 90 days on Solo, 365 days on Crew.
FAQ
Can the AI apply a change without me?
No. Write tools only create plans. Applying a plan needs a person with the member role or above: in the dashboard, or, if an admin opted the workspace into approving in chat, by saying yes in the conversation that proposed it.
What happens if one change in a plan fails?
Changes apply in order. The first failure stops the plan; the rest are skipped and the plan is marked partially applied. You can undo the parts that were applied.
Can every change be undone?
Most can. Each change records what it needs to reverse itself. If a platform doesn't allow a reversal, the diff says so before you approve.
How long does a plan wait for approval?
24 hours. After that it expires, because the live account may have moved on. Ask for a fresh plan.
