Enter any URL for an instant on-page SEO audit. It checks the title, meta description, headings, canonical tag, indexability, structured data, image alt text, links, mobile basics and (optionally) page speed, then gives you a score and a prioritized list of fixes.

  • Results in seconds

One public page per run. We read it like Googlebot would; nothing on your site changes.

What a good on-page SEO setup looks like

  • Status and redirects. The page answers 200 OK, ideally with no redirects, and at most one permanent (301 or 308) hop.
  • Title tag. 30 to 60 characters, unique, with the main topic near the start.
  • Meta description. 70 to 160 characters that answer the searcher's question and earn the click.
  • Canonical. A rel="canonical" pointing at the page itself (or at the original, for duplicates).
  • Indexability. No accidental noindex in a meta tag or the X-Robots-Tag header.
  • Headings. One H1 that states the topic, then H2s and H3s in order without skipping levels.
  • Structured data. Valid JSON-LD for what the page is: Organization, Product, Article, FAQPage, LocalBusiness.
  • Images. Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, alt="" on decorative ones.
  • Links. Internal links to related pages, so crawlers and readers find the rest of the site.
  • Speed. Good Core Web Vitals: Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 s, Interaction to Next Paint under 200 ms, Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.1.

Single-page audit vs a site audit

A site audit crawls every URL to find patterns: duplicate titles, orphan pages, broken links, redirect chains. A single-page audit answers a sharper question, fast: is this page set up to rank? Use it before you publish, after a redesign, or when one page loses traffic.

FAQ

Free SEO audit questions

What does this free SEO audit check?

It checks one page the way a search engine crawler sees it: HTTP status and redirects, title and meta description length, canonical tag, noindex and other robots directives, the H1 and heading order, structured data (JSON-LD), image alt text, internal and external links, hreflang, mixed content, the viewport tag, language and HTML size. Optionally it runs Google PageSpeed Insights for Core Web Vitals.

How is the SEO score calculated?

Every page starts at 100. Each high-priority issue (a noindex, a missing title, an error status) costs 15 points, each medium issue costs 7, and each low issue costs 3. The score is a quick summary for comparing pages; the fix list is what matters.

Is this a full site audit?

No. It's a single-page audit, which is the fastest way to check a key landing page, a new post or a page that dropped in rankings. A full site crawl finds site-wide problems like broken internal links and duplicate titles; MegaMCP runs those for customers on a schedule.

Why is page speed optional?

Speed comes from Google PageSpeed Insights, which loads your page in a real browser and can take up to a minute. Tick the box when you want Core Web Vitals; leave it off for a quick on-page check. If Google is busy, the audit still shows and notes that speed was skipped.

What's the difference between this and an AI SEO audit?

This audit covers classic on-page SEO. The AI visibility checker covers what AI search needs on top: AI crawler access in robots.txt, llms.txt, server-rendered content and answer-friendly structure. Run both on important pages.

Do you store the pages I audit?

No. The result is kept in memory for about 10 minutes so a repeat check is instant, and we don't store the URL with anything personal. Private and internal addresses can't be audited.
