Definition

Change approval is a control where an AI or automation proposes an exact change and a person must approve it before it is applied. It turns AI writes into reviewable plans.

Explained

A good approval shows a diff: one line per change, with the value before and after. Approving should require the right role, and the AI should not be able to approve its own proposal.

In MegaMCP every write tool returns a plan instead of changing the platform. Members, admins and owners approve or reject it on the Changes page; approving in chat is opt-in per workspace. Pending plans expire after 24 hours, and agencies can also require a client's sign-off through a secret approval link.
